Celebrate Irish culture at the annual Iowa Irish Fest from August 4-6 in downtown Waterloo’s Lincoln Park neighborhood. Enjoy live music and food, as well as interactive activities like traditional Irish dancing, a chance to play various musical instruments and basic lessons in Irish language and history.

Beyond that, you can sign up for the Guinness Experience to learn how to pour the perfect pint with classes held at various times on Aug. 5. Or learn more about the harp with musician Hannah Flowers throughout her workshops. You can buy tickets and see the full schedule online.
