Although Lincoln Cafe owner Matt Steigerwald has had no formal culinary training, he’s emerged as a respected, influential chef. Steigerwald won the regional “Prince of Pork” title in the prestigious Cochon 555 competition two years in a row, and he snagged nominations for Best Chef—Midwest from the James Beard Foundation four consecutive years.
