As an official Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa (RAGBRAI) shop, this enthusiasts’ resource includes a satisfying variety of bikes, accessories and services. “We carry products that consumers might not find in larger stores,” says Craig Cooper. Hot bikes-of-the-moment here extend from the entry-level Giant Escape ($420) to the Giant Defy Composite road bike ($2,400). Located downtown in a historic 1894 building, the shop carries much more than cycling gear. New Belgium Fat Tire clothing and Terry brand women’s wear fly out the door year-round.
